Enterprise & Supplier Development Programme Manager

Purpose of the Role

As a small, agile company supporting leading corporates in implementing impactful Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD & SD) programmes, they are seeking a high-performing Programme Manager. This person will lead the end-to-end implementation of ESD and SD initiatives, manage relationships with corporate clients and small businesses, and ensure effective delivery, reporting, and stakeholder satisfaction.

This is a dynamic, people-facing role that requires someone who is equally comfortable engaging corporate executives and nurturing growing entrepreneurs. The ideal candidate thrives in structured delivery, is exceptional at relationship management, and brings sharp execution, project management, and reporting skills. The candidate needs to be able to fully immerse themselves in the role, be delivery focus and be able to work in a high performing team. Delivery and happy clients are the only Indicator of progress in our organisation.

This is not a junior role so we need candidates that can jump onto the role and delivery quickly as the programmes are already on flight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Delivery & Coordination
  • Plan, implement, and oversee multiple ESD and SD projects for corporate clients.
  • Ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to transformationtargets.
  • Facilitate onboarding, assessments, and support interventions for SMMEs and suppliers.
  • Coordinate with coaches, consultants, service providers, and funding partners.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the main point of contact between corporate clients, SMMEs, and internal teams.
  • Build strong relationships with corporate procurement and transformation leads.
  • Understand and balance the unique needs of corporates and SMMEs with empathy andprofessionalism.
  • Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
  • Design and manage dashboards, tracking tools, and project workflows.
  • Create high-quality client reports, programme updates, and feedback summaries.
  • Support B-BBEE verification reporting with accurate data and compliance documentation.
  • Process & Operational Excellence
  • Establish and maintain structured workflows for repeatable, scalable delivery.
  • Support quality assurance, programme improvement, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure alignment with client objectives, B-BBEE codes, and entrepreneurial developmentgoals.

Key Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Development, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Project Management certification is a strong advantage.
  • Motor Vehicle

Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in ESD, supplier development, or enterprise development.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a high-paced environment.
  • Experience working with corporates and small businesses, ideally in a consulting orimplementation role.
